Born in France in 1991, living in Lisbon Portugal.
Teo Pesso’s practice deals with perception dynamics in relation with objects and spaces. His work involving sculpture, installation, video and photography tries to decompose and corrupt basic sets of perception in questioning the role of objects as apparatuses and bodies’ interactions with space. Often opting for a poor making and reducing elements to their basic principles, it aims to question how ones surrounding’s inherent proper ties alter ones potential perceptions. His recent researches give a different guideline to similar issues borrowing absurd aspects of scientific protocols to blur the boundary between reality and fiction.
