Miyata Sayaka [Japan]

Born in Kyoto, Miyata graduated from the Kyoto University of Art and Design in 2012 with a master's degree in textiles. She majored in dyeing and weaving, and now uses original techniques of hand and machine embroidery to give depth and volume to dyed fabrics. Through various embroidery techniques, her works express the birth and evolution of all things.
