The Philippines – Japan Friendship Exhibition

This exhibition will be related to the 8th BIWAKO Biennale in Japan, as the artists who will exhibit their works in Manila House will also participate in the Biennale.
Manila House, the exhibition venue, is a member’s club that recently opened in the center of Bonifacio Global City in Manila. Its stylish atmosphere in itself is a source of fascination, but it also works to promote the filipino art scene.
We are honored to have such a great opportunity to celebrate and deepen the filipino-japanese friendship.

《Japonismes 2018》Saint-Merry Church – Summer exhibition –

Many foreign artists are invited to present their work in the Saint-Merry Church(Centre Pastoral Saint-Merry) for its summer exhibitions. Saint-Merry is located near the famous contemporary art centre Centre Pompidou, thus attracting many visitors besides regular churchgoers. An exhibition inside a church can fill you with spiritual wonder and inspire emotions that could not be felt in an art museum.
This year, in honor of the 160-year anniversary of the French-Japanese friendship and for the 8th edition of the BIWAKO Biennale, its director Yoko Nakata will hold a collective exhibition including a performance and four very different works from artists participating in the Biennale.
