Gabriella passed away in August 2023. She participated in the BIWAKO BIENNALE from the very beginning and was a very important person who walked with me along the way. She was in good health and exhibited her works in 2022, so I never expected her sudden passing. She had some works in progress and I had high hopes for her continued success, so I’m very sorry to lose her. She was like family to me, so I feel a great sense of loss, and I still think of her every day as I look at her works in my home. I cannot put my memories of her into words, but I would like to exhibit her works again and etch their greatness into my heart once again. I would be very happy if everyone could take the time to immerse themselves in her works and feel their spirituality.
