BIWAKO BIENNALE 2022 "起源 ~ORIGIN" has closed on November 27, 2022.

Pre-BIWAKO Biennale will be held again this year!

As a pre-event for the next BIWAKO Biennale 2025, "Pre-BIWAKO BIENNALE 2025 Exhibition Voice of Autumn｜秋聲" will be held this fall (October 21 - November 12, 2023).

BB22 is on the way !

The 10th edition of the BIWAKO BIENNALE, an art festival held near Lake Biwa in Shiga prefecture, will start on 08/10. This year, new venues will open in Okishima (Japan's only inhabited lake island), and Toriimoto (former Nakasendo post town).
