The central theme of my work is ""life force.""
It’s something that cannot be seen with the naked eye, and for me, the true power of art lies in its ability to make such invisible concepts visible.
There are countless lifeforms in the universe—our planet Earth among them—that have undergone countless transformations to become what they are today.
One of those lifeforms is us: human beings. I believe that the phenomena through which we sense “life”—such as the economy, ancient ruins, or even traffic jams—are all manifestations of human thought taking shape.
From this wide perspective, down to the mysterious workings of microscopic bacteria, I find endless sources of inspiration for giving form to ideas.
For instance, when I split open a rock and discover an unexpectedly beautiful pattern inside, I feel compelled to say, “Look! Isn’t it beautiful?”—and to share that moment of wonder with others.
