Atelier Shimura is a dyeing and weaving brand led by Shoji Shimura, grandson of Japanese textile artist Fukumi Shimura. It was created in 2016, with the desire to pass on the colorful world of plants to the next generation. The brand continuously questions what beauty is, while preserving and sharing Japanese culture and traditions such as the kimono. Under the theme of "bringing nature and art into daily life", the brand also tries to familiarize people with herb-dyeing, using this technique to create color-matching scarves and more.
