AUJIK was initiated in 2003 by Stefan Larsson. Born in Soderhamn, Sweden. Lives and works in Otsu, Japan. Master of Fine arts at Umea Art Academy. Umea University, Sweden. 2006.
Works mainly with CG animation, 3D printing, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Music, Text, Installations, Clothes, Photo and paintings.
Works been featured and awarded at Prix Ars Electronica, Japan Media Arts Festival, SIGGRAPH and at exhibitions and festivals worldwide.
Essential topics in AUJIK’s work been Artificial General Intelligence/Strong AI and nature/animism as well as architecture and future visions. Influenced by the ideas of Ray Kurzweil and Vernor Vinge.
Been collaborating with several artists and musicians such as Mira Calix & Oliver Coates, Christ (Christ Horne), Liturgy and Hunter Hunt Hendrix, Sun Araw, Cloud Nothings and Guzz.
